Fly from Santiago to Punta Arenas, then relax and take in the wonderful scenery as you're driven by a private vehicle to Puerto Natales (about three hours away). The evening is yours to explore this charming coastal town.
Spend the morning cycling along the shores of Sofia Lagoon. Check out the views of the Patagonian wilderness and the mountains of Prat. About mid-ride, you'll pause for some refreshments, before continuing along cross-country tracks. Spend the evening exploring the town.
Today you begin a 4-day excursion through Torres del Paine National Park, hiking the famous "W" Trek. The day begins with a two-hour drive across the pampa Patagonia to the start of the trek. Here you'll hike through dense forest and on mountain paths before making the ascent to the base of Las Torres. Trek about 4-5 hours there and another 4-5 hours back. Then, take a 30-min transfer to Refugio Laguna Amarga for the night.
Imagine, waking every morning, surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. After breakfast, you hike along the W route, taking in the best Mother Nature has to offer. Visit places like Lake Nordenskjöld, Cuernos, the French Valley and Glacier Grey. Along the way, you'll be able to cycle among the peaks of Patagonia and kayak alongside Glacier Grey. You'll breathe fresh air, work up an appetite, eat well and sleep even better. In short, a trip your mind, body and spirit will never forget.
You'll finish up your Torres del Paine trek with a hike to Lake Pehoé, then finish by taking a picturesque ferry ride across the lake enjoying the sense of accomplishment, and pondering a trip your mind, body and spirit will never forget.
